Christmas Comes After Thanksgiving, Not Before

Halloween is over and the Christmas season looms in the near future. Many stores have already skipped over the other holidays and are already decorated for Christmas. In some cases, so have home owners since I saw Christmas lights lit the other night while I was out after dark. As the season gets closer, many of us pull out the Christmastree ornaments and get the dust blown off the boxes to see what we have and what shopping we need to do for this year.
There is always so many feelings of excitement when I drag out the boxes of Christmas tree ornaments although in my house we do not get them out until the day after Thanksgiving.
I like the enjoy Thanksgiving and the fun of having the family over for great food before worrying about Christmas. However, once Thanksgiving is over, the glass christmas ornaments start to find their way out of the boxes and into their special places around the home. The fun of picking out the perfect Christmas tree over the Thanksgiving weekend and getting it decorated with Christmas tree ornaments. Then out for shopping for new glass christmas ornaments to finish it all off for the perfect holiday season.
